CalypsoAI, the leader in independent testing and validation for AI, is proud to announce that it will be supporting the Data Readiness for Artificial Intelligence Deployment (DRAID) broad purchasing agreement by the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC)—now the Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Office. CalypsoAI is part of a team led by Noblis that has been selected for this agreement, which has a ceiling of $241.6 million.
CalypsoAI will leverage its expertise in AI testing and validation to work with Noblis and the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) to ensure AI systems are fully tested and prepared for deployment.
This agreement marks the next evolution in CalypsoAI’s presence within the DoD’s AI efforts. In March, CalypsoAI previously announced it was on the Noblis team selected to provide AI testing services to the then-JAIC as part of a blanket purchase agreement. These agreements with government agencies show the necessity for the increased deployment of secure and trustworthy AI across the federal space.

The deployment of trusted and responsible AI will continue to be a focus at the DoD, with the Department releasing its “Responsible Artificial Intelligence Strategy and Implementation Pathway” report, which specifically highlights the need for reliable testing and validation processes.
