San Mateo, CA – February 22, 2022 CalypsoAI Labs and the Secretary of the Air Force / Concepts, Development, Management (SAF/CDM) were selected by AFWERX, the Air Force Research Laboratory’s innovation arm, for a TACFI award. This $1.5 million contract builds on CalypsoAI’s work with the U.S. Air Force (USAF) to develop technologies for securing AI through Test, Evaluation, Verification, and Validation (TEVV).
“CalypsoAI is proud to continue its work with the Air Force, which continues to lead on ensuring AI systems are robust, secure, and trustworthy,” said Neil Serebryany, CEO of CalypsoAI. “SAF/CDM’s focus on testing has enabled us to show, together, that safe AI adoption is possible.”
The TACFI award will focus on expanding user engagement of CalypsoAI’s product, VESPR Validate, which will enable CalypsoAI to continue accelerating the deployment of safe and secure AI across the USAF with rigorous TEVV capabilities.
